Anti-Wrinkle Injections (BOTOX ®)
Botox ® is a licenced brand of purified botulinum toxin for clinical use. It is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve moderate to severe forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet lines.
How does botulinum toxin work?
It is injected into the muscles and temporarily relaxes the muscles by inhibiting the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from motor nerve terminals. It can take up to 2 weeks for full results to be seen. Results can last between 3 – 4 months depending on lifestyle.
Advanced Treatments
Lip Flip – above the top lip is treated to improve the appearance of smokers lines and create a natural lift. Results can last 3-4 months.
Chemical Brow Lift – as it says and can enhance the appearance around the eyes creating a more open look. Results can last 3-4 months.
Bunny Lines – to treat the wrinkles either side of the nose. Results can last 3-4 months.
Pebble Chin – to treat the dimpling of the chin due to excessive use of mentalis (chin muscle). Results can last 3-4 months.
Masseter Muscle to slim the jawline and can also reduce jaw grinding. The results can last upto 6 months.
Hyperhidrosis – a treatment to prevent excessive underarm sweating. Results can last between 4-6 months.
Nerferititin Lift (neck lift) platysmal band muscles in the neck are treated to improve the definition of the jawline, relax the jowls and provide an ‘upward lifting effect’ in the neck and jaw area. The results can last up to 4 months.
